Videotel Digital launches updated media player

Videotel Digital has launched the VP71 XD 4K Digital Media Player, an update to the VP71 series. This device supports 3840-by-2160 pixels and features a higher bitrate to improve video and audio quality, according to a press release.

The player comes with a built-in scheduler can automatically power on and off and loop content. It can also pair with interactive devices such as touchscreens, LED push buttons, motion and proximity sensors and RFID tags.

"Our customers agree that the older version was on point to provide them with a phenomenal resource no matter what type of venue they use it in. Still, our goal to continually create innovative products with features that make content come alive is top of mind. We strive to outdo ourselves. With the new VP71 XD 4K, we’ve met that goal," Lisa Schneider, vice president of marketing and sales, said in the release.
