Versatile Systems reported recently fiscal first quarter revenues for the three months ended Sept. 30, 2010, of $9.2 million, generating a gross profit of $2.1 million and a net loss of $89,314. For the same period a year ago Versatile reported revenues of $11.6 million, generating a gross profit of $2.7 million and a net loss of $46,775.
Versatile also recently announced the launch of its cloud-computing strategy for self-service technology customers. The Self-Service Cloud offers a suite of hosted application services including Content Management allowing businesses to manage branding, advertisements, and promotional materials with the click of a mouse. The system also offers remote monitoring, and reporting and analytics modules.
The Cloud system can be integrated into social networks at kiosks or in interactive digital signage, Versatile reported.
