New Mexico-based Ideum, maker of multitouch tables and touch walls, announces a new and expanded partnership with London- and Dubai-based 2point0 Concepts.
Ideum's industrial multitouch tables and touch walls are, for the first time, available in the U.K. with local service and support exclusively from 2point0 Concepts, the company said. This new partnership expands 2point0 Concepts' exclusive distribution, which also covers most of the Middle East to now include the United Kingdom.
Ideum has been developing touch tables since 2008, and its newest line of 55-inch multitouch tables feature 4K UHD displays with integrated 3M touch technology. These tables are turnkey and built for reliability, the company said. Ideum's touch products are found in busy public spaces including the Smithsonian Cooper-Hewitt Design Museum in New York; the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum in Washington, DC; the Field Museum in Chicago; and many others. Ideum multitouch tables and displays have been sold in 33 countries worldwide.
2point0 Concepts, established in 2011, offers comprehensive AV consultation services, and ensures end-to-end digital signage projects' implementation, the announcement said. Based in the technological hub that is London, 2point0 Concepts will offer a dedicated team of specialists to provide sales, local service and support for Ideum products and their Human Computer Interaction services from consultation to design to development.
"We are thrilled to be partnering with 2point0 Concepts in the UK," said Jim Spadaccini, CEO and creative director of Ideum, in the announcement. "This partnership allows design agencies, museums and others to get full-service and direct support on the ground. 2point0 Concepts has been great to work with in the Middle East and we are excited about working with them in the U.K."
