University of Minnesota upgrades with Daktronics LED displays
The University of Minnesota has continued its partnership with Daktronics, appointing the company to install two LED displays at the main entrance of the Athletes Village on the school's Twin Cities campus in Minneapolis. The displays show full-color branded images to engage passersby at the entrance, according to a press release.
The horizontal displays measure 2.5 by 51.5 feet and 2.5 by 55.5 feet. Both feature 6 millimeter line spacing for clear images.
"These displays give us the chance to share schedules, updates and news about the accomplishments of our student athletes in a unique way, something we have never previously had near our everyday facilities," U of M athletics director Mark Coyle said in the release. "We appreciated Daktronics partnership to bring this element of the Athletes Village to life."
