UltraStar Cinemas installs digital signage from Corn Digital

UltraStar Cinemas has set up a network of digital signage and digital menu board displays in its box office and concession areas. The solution was provided embedded digital signage solution provider Corn Digtial. UltraStar Cinemas says it is the first and largest theater chain in the nation to be 100 percent equipped with digital cinema capabilities.
At select UltraStar theaters, two Ceres-200N, 20-inch screens are placed at the entrances, showing movie schedules, pricing and special event information. Once inside, an array of 42- and 20- inch LCD displays show movie trailers and dynamic menu board infomration.
"Our new digital menu board system presents well designed content that the motions really attracting movie goers' eye balls," said Kevin Stengle, an executive for UltraStar Cinemas. "We have seen unexpected success in promotions of special items at several locations, and were forced to turn of some of those digital signs for run out of stock."
