U.K. school signs with Net Display Systems for digital signage system
October 7, 2009
As part of the United Kingdom's Building Schools for the Future program, Pudsey Grangefield School has selected Net Display Systems to provide digital signage throughout its facility.
According to a news release, PGS will be using Net Display's Public Area Display Systems software to power the network.
The primary requirement for the system was that it needed to communicate up-to-the-minute timetable information to pupils and to staff. The secondary requirement was the ability to showcase students' work, advertise events and show live broadcasts.
In collaboration with Matrix Display and Anders + Kern, NDS has supplied and integrated the PADS professional digital signage system. The system includes 37 public displays. These screens are divided into 10 independent content zones, allowing the school to schedule content to each of the 10 zones.
