U.K. real estate agent implements digital signage

CHESHIRE, England — Global Display Solutions Ltd., designer and manufacturer of electronic information displays, has collaborated with digital-signage integrator Jigsaw Innovations to install a unique outdoor-advertising display in front of a leading real estate agent near Gatwick Airport. The 46-inch TFT display is being used to promote properties for sale, and features full-sunlight readability. It also is weather- and vandal-proof. The display has just been installed and is the very first screen of its kind to be deployed in the United Kingdom.

The display's casing has been made to IP65 standard, making it weatherproof and protected against dust and rain from all directions. It also is sunlight-readable and resists the effects of solar radiation, making it very reliable. The display is totally vandal-proof and boasts a 15-year life.
