ITN: A new initiative to help locate the more than 100,000 children who go missing annually in the U.K. has been launched at New Scotland Yard. "Missing Children's TV" is a joint project involving the Police National Missing Persons Bureau, children's charity Parents and Abducted Children Together and Electronic Health Media.
EHM operates a digital screen network in hospitals and doctors' surgeries, with each site able to tailor what they show in waiting rooms or wards. The technology will allow a child's photograph to be sent out quickly, targeting the general public and appealing for information.
