UCView set to release palm-sized digital signage players

Digital signage solutions provider UCView Media said it is set to release release a line of micro-sized digitalplayers. The ARM Caster HD Series, which will be available within the next few weeks, will run on the Android platform and offer complete functionality while fitting in the palm of your hand, the company said.

"This is one of the smallest series available in the market," UC View CEO Guy Avital said in a news release. "However, it is unexpectedly powerful for its size and can be utilized for many applications in the marketplace. We see these affordable players being an ideal tool for menu boards, retail environments and many more applications."

The series includes the ARM Caster HD1 and ARM Caster HD2. Both players have a USB port and an HDMI connector for simple installation. The series will offer a range of CPUs to accommodate the end-user's complexity. Pricing will range from $50 to $150.
