Protective Enclosures Company is providing The Display Shield weatherproof digital signage display enclosures for Trump International Beach Resort, located in Sunny Isles Beach near Miami Florida, the company announced.
The units will protect the resorts outdoor displays from salt water corrosion and harsh heat, which are typical threats to displays located in outdoor coastal areas. The Display Shield models DS3040H and DS4050H will encase screens at the Tiki bar and around the pool area at the resort, enabling guests to enjoy their favorite TV programs out in the sun.
PEC said its The Display Shield products will be used at the hotel due to their resilience in tropical climates and particularly their protection offered against salty air. The Display Shield is made out of long-lasting HMWPE outdoor plastic that is not damaged by salt, offering increased corrosion prevention. In addition, the outdoor enclosures are water-resistant, protecting commercial signage against rain and pool splashes; a huge benefit for Trump International Beach Resort. For improved TV security and durability, these units also feature ultra-clear Lexan covers (shields) that are manufactured using quarter-inch-thick shatter-resistant polycarbonate, the same material used to produce bulletproof glass. The Display Shield is actively ventilated with a thermostatically controlled 36CFM 115V filtered fan and two vents located on the upper side corners.
"PEC is honored to be improving outdoor entertainment environments for the hospitality industry and specifically for a prestigious organization like Trump International," PEC CEO Justin King said in the announcement.
