TAMPA, Fla. — TruMedia Technologies, a provider of real-time audience measurement and proactive advertising solutions, announced that it has been included in the list of "Cool Vendors" in the "Cool Vendors in Retail, 2009" report by Gartner Inc.
"Every company wants to be considered a 'cool vendor,' so it's nice to be recognized by Gartner," said Moti Gura, chief executive and chairman, TruMedia. "In the current harsh economic climate, our goal is to help retailers improve their advertising effectiveness through fast and actionable insights into their customers' behavior."
TruMedia's digital signage audience measurement solutions make it possible for retail marketers and advertisers to get a true measure of the effectiveness of store media/displays, and provide insights on consumer in store responses and behaviors.
Gartner's listing does not constitute an exhaustive list of vendors in any given technology area, but rather is designed to highlight interesting, new and innovative vendors, products and services. Gartner defines a cool vendor as a company that offers technologies or solutions that are: innovative, enable users to do things they couldn't do before; impactful, have, or will have, business impact (not just technology for the sake of technology); and intriguing, have caught Gartner's interest or curiosity in approximately the past six months.
