Tripp Lite launches 4K video extender kit

Tripp Lite has launched its B127-1A1-WHD1 transmitter/receiver kit for providing wireless signal between an HDMI source device and an HDMI display. This kit can handle 4K resolutions at 30 Hertz with Dolby digital audio, according to a press release.

The solution has a range of up to 98-feet and comes with USB Micro-B ports for receiving power. It also offers 10.2 Gbps bandwidth wireless transmission for live audio and video, according to the release.

"This kit gives customers a polished 4K viewing experience without requiring a cable installation," David Posner, director of product marketing, connectivity, Tripp Lite, said in the release. "This is especially appealing in spaces where cables would be a distraction to viewers, or where a cable run is not even an option."
