Tripp Lite intros uninterruptible power supply units for kiosk, digital signage

Tripp Lite, a connectivity solutions provider, has introduced four uninterruptible power supply systems in its SmartPro series to provide backup power for kiosk, digital signage, network closets and other devices. The systems are available with output capacities ranging from 750VA/600W to 1440VA/1200W, according to a press release.

Tripp Lite built these UPS systems with automatic voltage regulation to protect data and equipment from brownouts and overvoltages without using battery power. The systems also feature a front panel LCD touchscreen to monitor power conditions.

"These line additions combine great value with the features IT professionals depend on for reliable backup power in small network applications," Rusty Scioscia, single-phase UPS product manager, Tripp Lite, said in the release. "Plus, features like nuisance-free alarms that sound only when the battery is low make them great solutions for home networks, high-end PC configurations, gaming consoles, home theater installations and security systems, as well."
