Tripp Lite has introduced its monitored power distribution units to measure the power usage of network devices. With this device, customers can monitor a single connected device's power consumption remotely and in real-time, according to a press release.
The devices are built on an HMTL5-based LX platform interface and come in a single phase and three-phase models. The single phase model has a digital ammeter while the three-phase has an LCD touchscreen, according to the release.
"Outlet-level monitoring makes it possible to determine the operating costs associated with each piece of network equipment," David Slotten, VP, product marketing, Tripp Lite, said in the release."Tripp Lite's new monitored per-outlet PDUs are a great solution for customers who don't need outlet switching, but want to use outlet-level information to maximize the efficiency of their installations."
