Toy retailer Extra Leker A/S selects ZetaDisplay digital signage

Extra Leker has chosen to equip its 16 stores in Norway and Sweden with ZetaDisplay´s digital signage solutions. Each solution is based on three to four monitors in each store, one at the entrance and the others at various campaign locations in the stores. Content consists of animated films to show the various functions of toys and to describe to children how to play with them.
Extra Leker is a chain that invests in relatively large stores with toys at attractive prices. The chain has had stable growth in recent years.
"Communicating with the aid of digital active media is very important for our chain," said Erik Samuelsen of Extra Leker A/S. "Children are fascinated by new and modern media and become inspired by the displays. In order to run a successful toy chain in the future, this is an important requirement."
Installation into the stores will take place in February 2010 and is estimated to be worth 1.5 million SEK ($212,882).
