Tosibox has won the ISO 9001 certification for the development, manufacturing, licensing and selling of connection solutions, products and services for the Internet of Things, according to a press release.
The ISO is designed to show consumers that companies have all the capabilities to create solutions. Tosibox is currently looking to develop secure remote Internet connections that can be used for IoT solutions.
"Our ultimate goal is to create a global standard for secure remote connections. Being awarded a global certification is one building block in reaching this goal," Tero Lepistö, CEO of Tosibox, said in the release. "It immediately signals to our customers that we continuously focus on developing our high quality operations and processes, and, through this, the quality of our offering. Security is a cornerstone of the Internet of Things, and we want to be at its core."
