Tivus announces digital signage deal with Omaha hotel

Tivus Inc., a provider of turnkey media-entertainment technology to the hotel and hospitality industry, together with its strategic partner, Digital Ads, today announced details of a five-year contract with an Omaha hotel property for Tivus' digital signage service.
"The five-year contract provides the hotel with four terminals displaying advertisements of local businesses, tourists attractions, hotel promotions and amenities, instant weather forecasts, and instant flight information from Eppley Field streamed live to the hotel," Tivus president and CEO Shiva Prakash said.
Tivus' system bears no installation costs or monthly fees to the hotel and shares revenues from targeted advertisements of "virtual concierge" services available 24/7 to guests, according to the company.
"Over the life of the contract, gross revenues of approximately $400,000 will be shared between the parties," Prakash said.
