Thunderbird School of Global Management unveils Planar digital signage at HQ

Thunderbird School of Global Management, a branch of Arizona State University based in Phoenix, is commemorating its 75th anniversary with a new headquarters building featuring Planar digital signage, according to a press release.

The installations include LED, LCD, a transparent OLED virtual greeter screen at the entrance and custom displays throughout the building. Custom displays include an LED sphere, a 360-degree LED ribbon display and multi-touch tables, along with hundreds of 4K LED displays throughout the facility. The multi-touch tables are designed for collaborative teaching and learning, and the initiative aims to aid Thunderbird in its goals to be a leader in the Fourth Industrial Revolution, according to the release.

"Our vision is to not only reclaim our position as the most global leadership and management school in the world, but to also be the most digital and technological," Sanjeev Khagram, director general and dean of Thunderbird, said in the release. "That was our mantra for designing and building this fantastic new global headquarters, and it's the long-term partnerships with collaborators like Planar that has brought it to life."
