The LED Studio announces V1 future-proofing architecture

The LED Studio has announced V1 Architecture, a proprietary LED display cabinet design powered by VOD Visual that aims at enhanced sustainability and future-proofing via compatibility with three LED technologies, according to a press release.

V1 Architecture is compatible with three LED types — SMD, Flip-Chip SMD and Flip-Chip SMD High Bright — thanks to printed chip board design.

The system also allows 70% of a display setup to be kept during upgrades, with an eye to sustainability.

"Our ability to present an LED display with the option to choose from three advanced manufacturing technologies and various pixel pitches is a massive evolution in the LED industry," Rob Bint, CEO at The LED Studio, said in the release. "It answers multiple end-user-specific demands by granting access to advanced technologies within their current budgets whilst helping to plan for future upgrades that are more attainable. This is a significant turning point in a move towards a more sustainable display industry. It marks the first time a single display has embodied flexibility and sustainability to protect initial investments, reduce waste and support technology progression."
