Texas State Technical College students forming first DSF college chapter

According to eCampusNews.com, Texas State Technical College has become the nation's first college chapter of the Digital Signage Federation (DSF), a nonprofit trade organization or the digital signage industry.
By being associated with the DSF, students in the school's Digital Signage Technology program will have help networking with digital signage professionals and staying up-to-date with the newest advances in interactive technology, the story says.
So far the program has three students, after it started in this year's spring semester funded with about $1 million from the U.S. Department of Education. At least five more students are expected by school officials to join the program in the fall, and the school expects to have about 20 students in the program by the fall semester of next year.
