Texas school district deploys Boxlight panel displays

The Shamrock Independent School District, in Shamrock, Texas, has deployed Boxlight Corp. ProColor interactive flat panel displays to boost teacher-student coloration and interactive learning.

The Boxlight technology replaced aging SMART boards and projectors with the goal of increasing interactive educational experiences. The district expects to save $20,000 within five years in comparison to previous technology used, according to a press release.

"The Boxlight (interactive panels) will provide opportunities for more engaged teacher-student collaboration because they are easy to use and the panel brings out the fun in learning," Laramie Jernigan, Shamrock ISD technology coordinator, said in the release.
