Texas school deploys flat panels in 128 classrooms

The Castleberry Independent School District in Fort Worth, Texas, recently teamed up with BenQ America Corp. to deploy RP653 Interactive Flat Panel displays. BenQ provided these panels for 128 classrooms and conference rooms in the school, according to a press release.

The 65-inch flat panels are designed with 350 cd/m2 screen brightness, 1,400:1 contrast ratio and 20-point multi-touch. It is also designed with anti-glare glass and Low Blue Light and ZeroFlicker backlit technologies. Students can also use differently colored pens to interact with the touchscreen.

Teachers can also use applications bundled with the RP653 IFP, such as DisplayNote. Teachers can use this application to stream content from their devices to the panels, according to the release.
