Texas Instruments now offering 4K chipsets for displays

Texas Instruments recently expanded its 4K chipset offerings with two small chips: the DLP470TE and DL470TP. These chips are built to provide 4K for laser TVs, digital signage displays and more, according to a press release.

The DLP470TP measures 17 millimeters by 24.5 millimeters and provides a brightness of 1,500 lumens, and the DLP470TE is 22 millimeters by 32 millimeters and can withstand heat generated by brightness levels up to 4,000 lumens, according to the release.
