Switzerland TV studios roll out Phillips video walls

La Tele, a Swiss TV channel, recently deployed PPDS's HD Philips Q-Line and X-Line video wall displays for its two studios. PPDS provided 27 displays for the studios, according to a press release.
The channel selected 24 49-inch X-Line displays and three 86-inch Q-Line displays. The displays are all connected to the station's network and the network can manage them automatically or manually via a custom control system. The displays showcase newsfeeds, set scenery, gameshow questions and other content.
"We're delighted to have been able to support La Télé in this both exciting and challenging project, providing a truly transformational solution across its two busy TV studios," Davide Longo, sales manager, Switzerland, PPDS, said in the release. "It's another example of how far PPDS has come over a relatively short period, with our displays increasingly becoming the brand of choice for many of Europe's leading integration specialists and end users alike for projects like this that demand quality and reliability."
