Outdoor digital signage display provider SunBriteTV has introduced its weatherproof Anti-Theft Shroud Cover Kit SB-SS47-BL, "a secure way to prevent vandalism in heavy-traffic areas," according to a company announcement. Designed as a digital signage accessory for commercial installations, the Anti-Theft Shroud Cover Kit is intended to be a solution for public venues including stadiums, amusement parks, restaurants, hotels, colleges and resorts.

The Anti-Theft Shroud Cover Kit features custom locking fasteners that, according to SunBriteTV, can't be removed without an included specialty wrench to secure SunBriteTV Pro and Marquee Series displays. The industrial-grade, powder-coated aluminum exterior is rustproofed, and the kit also includes a weatherproof deck pole and mount. All cables and entry points to the SunBriteTV are safely covered and protected to prevent any unauthorized access or tampering, the company said, and the Anti-Theft Shroud Cover Kit is available now for a $1,149 MSRP.

"Standard kiosks often create a large footprint that distracts customers and blocks the view of the surrounding environment," SunBriteTV Senior Mechanical Engineer Jonathan Dry said in the announcement. "The Anti-Theft Shroud is less bulky but doesn't compromise on security."
