Starmount to launch Marquis digital signage software at Digital Signage Expo

Starmount has announced that it will launch a new digital signage solution at DSE 2010 called Marquis. According to the company, "Marquis is an easy-to-use, platform-independent solution with functionality to manage assets, develop playlists, schedule playback and play your content on any size screen."

The highlights of Marquis include:

- Role-Based Security that controls user access - Presentation and Scene creation and editing to arrange content and develop playlists - Importing elements including support for Image, Video, Flash and Audio - Screen Layout creation and editing to define areas in which to assign content - Scheduling when and where a presentation plays by date and time and to individual

Players and/or Player Groups - Event Monitor that provides a view of each player in the network including status and notifications - Menu builder to manage menu items, nutritional information and prices
