Stampede launches care package to help AV industry tackle COVID-19

June 3, 2020

Stampede, a Pro A/V distributor, is launching its XtraCare Program to help employees and customers alike battle coronavirus. The company is offering SafeXSound Care Packages, a PROAVXchange online marketplace that can turn product into cash and FleXFinancing, according to a press release.

The care packages include three-ply surgical masks, hand sanitizer, powder-free gloves and Bluetooth headphones or speaker and will be sent to employees for free. For every kit purchased, Stampede will send one kit to healthcare workers.

Customers can use the PROAVXchange online marketplace to resell products that are not generating enough revenue. Stampede is also offering extended financing with its FleXFinancing, which extends existing and future invoice payment terms by 30 days.

The company is also providing its AV as a Service (AVaaS) plan that provides end users with a monthly payment option that enables them to upgrade equipment regularly.

"We are all in this fight together, and together we will prevail against the challenges this pandemic poses to every part of our industry," Kevin Kelly, president and CEO, Stampede, said in the release. "Stampede has never been positioned better to serve the needs of the entire industry. The financial might of our parent, DCC plc, reinforces and strengthens our position as a partner you can count on to navigate through these challenging times."
