The SPEED Digital Signage Training Program provided by Bunn Co. has been approved by InfoComm International for Certified Technology Professional (CTS) professional certification Renewal Unit (RUs) credits.
The InfoComm International Certified Technology Specialist (CTS) designations include Certified Technology Specialist (CTS), Design (CTS-D) and Installation (CTS-I), all of which are an internationally recognized Audio-Visual certification and ANSI accredited under International Standards ISO/IEC 17024. Four CTS Renewal Units will be provided upon completion of the half-day SPEED program.
To date, more than 1,100 people, from end users, network operation and supplier organizations, have used the "SPEED" program to better plan, launch, deploy, manage, sell and use digital signage and digital out-of-home across a wide range of uses and locations.
SPEED is available for private corporate presentation and will be presented at two industry events, including Digital Signage Expo (DSE) in Las Vegas, Feb. 23, 2010, and in Las Vegas on April 13 during the Digital Signage Show/KioskCom and the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) annual conference.
"The recognition of the SPEED program is appreciated and timely" said Lyle Bunn, principal of BUNN Co. "The granting of CTS Renewal Unit credits by InfoComm is a strong endorsement of the importance and value that SPEED can deliver to the audiovisual and information communications industry. These companies will play an ever-increasing role in the supply of digital signage elements and networks, as will InfoComm as the primary visual media industry association."
