Sony Electronic's spatial reality display now supports Twinmotion, a real-time visualization tool developed by Epic Games and powered by Unreal Engine. Integration with 3D content creation tools provides enhanced compatibility to drive increased realism and creative freedom, according to a press release.
Twinmotion is a real-time 3D visualization software that enables anyone to easily produce high-quality media and immersive experiences from 3D data. It offers an intuitive interface and a feature set, making it accessible to both beginners and professionals. With Twinmotion, users can easily create detailed scenes, add realistic lighting and effects and produce high-quality images, panoramas, standard or 360° virtual reality videos and interactive presentations.
"We are thrilled to expand the functionality of the spatial reality display by incorporating support for Twinmotion," Thaisa Yamamura, head of XR Business Development at Sony Electronics Inc., said in the release. "This integration enables our users to visualize their designs in a more dynamic and engaging way, pushing the boundaries of what's possible in 3D visualization."
The Twinmotion integration with Unreal Engine enables users to start a project in Twinmotion and then take it into Unreal Engine for further enhancement.
"Integrating Twinmotion with Sony's Spatial Reality Display opens up new possibilities for our users," Sebastien Miglio, vice president at Twinmotion, said in the release. "The combination of our real-time 3D immersive visualization software with Sony's advanced 3D technology offers an exciting opportunity for users to create and present their work with exceptional realism and interactivity."
