Sony Electronics Inc. has partnered with Kramer Electronics to integrate Kramer Control Brainware software into its BZ35F series of Bravia 4K HDR displays. Customers can use this software to control and automate spaces, while removing the need for additional control processor hardware and cabling, according to a press release.
The software can control meeting rooms or more advanced digital signage applications, and it also provides analytics. Customers can install it directly using an USB upgrade license key to their Bravia displays, according to the release.
"Pairing Kramer's code-free, drag-and-drop control platform with Sony's Bravia pro series monitors is a win-win for our joint customers," Theresa Alesso, Pro division president, Sony Electronics said in the release. "By offering integration with manufacturers such as Kramer, Sony Electronics is providing users with the tools and capabilities they need most, while creating a highly robust, interoperable and versatile platform. We are excited to provide Sony Bravia users with an additional all-in-one solution for simplified, software-based room control."
Sony Electronics offers a full line of commercial flat panel displays.
