Samsung, BroadSign and Lucit have announced a range of software solutions in the weeks leading up to ISE Barcelona, including Samsung's community education platform, BroadSign's OOH platform and Lucit's AR proofing software, respectively, according to press releases.

Samsung launches education platform

Samsung's free-to-join community education platform, which includes online discussion forums, peer and expert coaching, and free, self-paced professional development courses. It was developed by a team led by Micah Shippee, director of education technology consulting and solutions at Samsung, leveraging Shippee's over two decades of education experience, according to the press release.

"At Samsung, we strive to build community through technology," Shippee said in the release. "Educators and EdTech enthusiasts will be able to use the Samsung Education Community Platform as their go-to destination to convene and share bold ideas to reimagine the future of learning. Through our platform, educators can embrace more innovative teaching practices and technology that solve common pain points we're seeing in classrooms across the country."

"Nearly three years have passed since the COVID-19 pandemic upended classroom teaching and learning, yet educators are still addressing the impacts of prolonged remote learning, from declining test scores to rising rates of stress and burnout," Chris Mertens, VP of U.S. sales and displays at Samsung, said in the release. "In this challenging climate, educators need more support and professional development than ever before," said Chris Mertens, Vice President of U.S. Sales, Displays, at Samsung Electronics America.

BroadSign unveils OOH platform

BroadSign, an OOH technology firm, has announced its next-generation OOH platform, which includes unified access to BroadSign product subscriptions, such as BroadSign Direct and BroadSign Reach, and tools for campaign targeting, according to a press release. In addition to rolling out real-time triggered ad-targeting based on weather and other conditions, BroadSign plans to launch its new ad server in February 2023, and the system is designed to provide support for a company's digital, static and programmatic campaigns in one place, along with analytics and metrics tools.

"Between OOH's continued programmatic advancement and the increasing digitization of screens, the OOH industry has grown more complex, and we're continuously evolving our product portfolio to ensure our clients can thrive in a dynamic landscape," Sabrina Allard, director of product marketing at Broadsign, said in the release. "We're excited to bring clients additional features that will give them more agility to launch new products and services and unlock new revenue opportunities."

Lucit launches AR billboard proofing tool

Lucit has announced Lucit XR, its augmented reality billboard proofing tool, according to a press release. Available as a desktop, Android or iOS, the tool is designed to allow preview and proofing of ad creative that is superimposed over existing furniture to allow teams to see what the ad will look like in real world settings.
