SNA Displays and Big Outdoor recently completed a massive overhaul of one of the largest LED video installations on the West Coast, the Circa Digital Spectacular.
The DOOH platform was converted from a trio of large-format screens to one continuous LED mega-spectacular that wraps the corner of S Figueroa and W 12th streets in downtown Los Angeles, according to a press release. At 20,000 square feet of canvas, it becomes the largest continuous DOOH platform on the West Coast.
Big Outdoor operates the landmark media destination.
"This incredible display offers brands a one-of-a-kind platform in the epicenter of the city's sports and entertainment scene," Bill Tagliaferri, president of Big Outdoor, said in the release. "Circa will be the most impactful digital display in Downtown Los Angeles, perfectly positioned to capture the world's attention during marquee moments like the FIFA World Cup in 2026, the Super Bowl in 2027, and the LA Olympics in 2028."
The DOOH platform processes 55% more pixels than its predecessor and includes both concave and convex curves to integrate seamlessly with Circa LA's architecture.
"As one of SNA Displays' most recognizable installations, the Circa Digital Spectacular holds a special place for many of us," Craig Sholder, SNA Displays director of sales, said in the release. "Between the demolition of the previous screens and tons of added steel and electrical infrastructure to accommodate the larger platform, our team and our partners have done something really special with this one. We're incredibly grateful to continue providing landmark video experiences to downtown Los Angeles."
