Smart City Networks renews contracts with major convention centers

Smart City Networks, a provider of technology services for conventions, has renewed its contracts with the Oregon Convention Center in Portland, the Seattle Center and the Virginia Beach Convention Center in Virginia Beach. As part of the agreement, Smart City Networks will upgrade the Cisco core network and internet circuit as well as continue to maintain its digital signage and other services, according to a press release.

"We're proud to have earned the confidence of these three premier facilities to continue offering the most advanced and reliable networks to keep their events and visitors connected," Mark Haley, president of Smart City Networks, said in the release. "We are committed to working with our partner facilities to meet the growing and changing technology needs of the event industry, including the always increasing demand for Wi-Fi connectivity."
