Smart City Networks, a convention technology and digital signage provider, has launched its "month of service" initiative for 2018. Employees from around the nation volunteered at charity organizations throughout the month of November, according to a press release.
Local teams select organizations to support such as Ronald McDonald House, Make-A-Wish and local food banks.
"Last year's Week of Service was a huge success, so this year we wanted to create an even greater impact," Mark Haley, president of Smart City Networks, said in the release. "By expanding to a Month of Service, and adding a food drive competition, we are giving our teams even more opportunities to give back to their hometown while having fun in the process."
