SIS Digital deploys full motion LED display in Derby, UK

SIS Digital has deployed a full motion LED display in Derby, U.K. The 4.8- by 6.8-meter display features built-in wireless and near-field capability, according to a press release.

SIS Digital provides 5,500 network integration transmission services to make sure all images are displayed at high quality. The display also featured 10-millimeter surface-mounted-device LED panels to offer full motion smart screen technology.

"Even though we have installed a number of screens in Derby, the completion of The Riverlights is a key moment for the city, with its first full motion LED screen sitting right at its heart. We worked closely with the city council to ensure we were granted planning permission, and what we promised in terms of a blueprint was what we subsequently delivered.," Andrew Simister, U.K. sales, SIS Digital, said in the release.
