SigmaSense selects Okaya to provide customer support for touch sensing in Japan

SigmaSense Llc., a touch sensing solutions provider, has selected Okaya & Co. Ltd. and Okaya Electronics Corp. to provide business development and customer support in Japan for its interactive solutions, according to a press release.

The company's SigmaDrive solution helps deliver touchless interactivity via hover and sensing, according to the release.

"Okaya is a global trading company that handles various industrial products into various markets. We are deeply involved with the display business in Signage, KIOSK, ATM and Automotive markets," Gen Mitobe, senior general manager, electric and electronics division, Okaya & Co. Ltd., said in the release. "SigmaSense is a revolutionary touch sensing company that enables customers to develop additional value. Their high sensitivity technology brings new types of sensing, such as hover that provides non-touch sensing in a post COVID-19 world."
