SigmaSense hires board member

SigmaSense, a touchscreen provider, has added David French to its board of directors to represent the company's Series A investors. French is currently VP and general manager of DSP business at Analog Devices, according to a press release.

"I'm thrilled to be able to help the SigmaSense team with the DSP and mixed signal experience I've accumulated over the years," French said in the release. "SigmaSense's breakthrough in current-based sensing appears to have the potential for not only dominating touch screen applications, but finding broad adoption in a variety of sensing markets that can benefit from low voltage, ultra-high signal-to-noise ratios."
