Sharp has launched its XP-X141Q RB 4K UHD Laser Projector, a 13,500 lumens unit which rounds out Sharp's Installation PJ product category, according to a press release.
The announcement was made by Sharp Imaging and Information Company of America (SIICA), a division of Sharp, Electronics Corporation.
"The X141Q was born from the latest Sharp technology upgrades to meet the demands in the marketplace for the highest standards in projector reliability and image production," Richard McPherson, senior product manager, projectors, at Sharp, said in the release. "We know that users in any environment will be impressed by the constant brightness, image integrity and 4K resolution that this projector has to offer."
The product displays 9.2 million pixels and features a red (red assist) and blue laser engine, along with low-maintenance design related to the unit's DLP laser technology and its sealed optical cooling system. The system is protected by Sharp's limited warranty providing 5 years or 20,000 hours (whichever comes first) of coverage.
