Sharp Imaging and Information Company of America, a division of Sharp Electronics Corporation, has launched its PN-C Series Aquos Board interactive display systems. The series features up to 10 touch points and comes in a 69.5-inch diagonal model and a 80-inch diagonal model, according to a press release.
The Aquos Board enables four-person simultaneous usage, up from the maximum two-person use of the previous PN-C series. Its protective glass is bonded to the LCD panel without air gaps, which is designed to create a pen on paper feel. The series also features:
"The new PN-C805B and PN-C705B sacrifices little in the way of the usability features found in the PN-L series, while providing more product variety for customers with different cost needs," Gary Bailer, director of product management, information display products at Sharp, said in the release. "We're very proud to introduce a mid-point Aquos Board interactive display solution that fills a need we saw within our channels and customer base."
