Sharp Imaging and Information Co. of America, a division of Sharp Electronics Corp., has released new Aquos Board interactive digital signage display systems, the company announced.

The new displays are the 70-inch class (69.5-inch diagonal) PN-L703W display and the 60-inch class (60.5-inch diagonal) PN-L603W display, as well as the new value-priced 60-inch class (60.1-inch diagonal) PN-C603D display. The two new premium models come with built-in wireless capability, allowing for new levels of secure collaboration, the company said.

"With these latest expansions to the award-winning Aquos Board interactive display line, Sharp offers the widest range of its models and sizes to date, at varying pricepoints, to meet a diverse set of customer requirements," said Mike Marusic, senior vice president, marketing, operations and services, Sharp Imaging and Information Co. of America. "From the classroom to board room, the new Sharp Aquos Board interactive displays are raising the bar for collaborative experience."

The premium-grade line Aquos Board interactive display systems are designed for 24/7 use, the company said, and the wireless technology is aimed at making it easy to conduct efficient, collaborative meetings by allowing users to present content on the Aquos Board interactive display directly from their mobile devices without the need for adapters, cables or even pre-installed software.

The displays' wireless capability not only transmits the video signal, but it also wirelessly transmits the audio signal and even the touch signal. It also helps to create a more secure environment by broadcasting its own wireless hotspot to avoid accessing the corporate network, the company said.

The 70-inch class PN-L703W will be available to ship in late February, and the 60-inch class PN-L603W is expected to ship by late March, the company said. The PN-C603D interactive display is now available.
