Sharp expands Aquos Board interactive displays line

Sharp Imaging and Information Company of America, a division of Sharp Electronics Corp., has expanded its line of Aquos Board interactive displays, with a 50-inch class PN-L501C interactive display system. This display is 100-nits brighter than the PN-L401C model and features a 25 percent larger diagonal inch measurement at 49.5 inches, according to a press release.

The anti-glare PN-L501C has 10-point multi-touch functionality and is built on capacitive technology for precision. It also features HD resolution and built to resist fingerprints and scratches, according to the release.

"We're thrilled to add the PN-L501C to the Aquos Board interactive display family, making it our most expansive Aquos Board interactive display product line to date." Gary Bailer, director of product planning and marketing for pro A/V products, Sharp Imaging and Information Company of America, said in the release. "These displays are not only powerful meeting tools for corporate and academic environments, but they can also be used to engage and inform people in stores, museums, showrooms and other public spaces."
