Screenfeed is partnering with the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children to dynamically deliver images of missing children. Networks can subscribe to the free content feed, which will automatically populate information on missing children based on the display's location, according to a press release.
Of the U.S. population, 70% have seen a digital video display in the past month, and of those, 83% were able to remember its content, according to the release.
Screenfeed is calling on digital signage operators to set aside a minimum of 10 seconds in their playlist loop to raise awareness for missing children as part of the "Save:10, Save a Child," campaign.
"We know that a picture is one of the most important tools in the search for a missing child," Patricia Willingham, director of case management services, NCMEC, said in the release. "The ability to get a child’s face in front of the public greatly improves the chance that someone will provide the tip that law enforcement needs to safely recover that child."
