Scala launches airport information display solutions

Scala, a digital signage and marketing company, has launched two products for airport displays. This marks an expansion for Scala, which is active in the retail, restaurant and transportation industries in hardware, software and analytics, according to a press release.

The Scala Flight Information Display System manages flight data and can push flight data to passengers. Scala's FIDS provides a backend solution for the complexities of airport data management.

Scala's Passenger Information Display System focuses on customer-facing displays than back-end data architecture. Scala's PIDS organizes and displays real time arrival and departure information along with updates for customer-facing displays. Features include the Virtual Helpdesk, which allows passengers to have a video call with airport staff at the push of a button.
