Samsung, Westinghouse focusing on 1080p displays

Consumer Reports: If recent announcements by Samsung and Westinghouse are any indication, you'll be seeing more high-definition displays with 1080p resolution over the next few months, including Samsung's first-ever 1080p plasma set. And prices for LCD TVs could drop even further, judging by Westinghouse's aggressively priced new lines, including a 42-inch 1080p LCD set for $1,600.
