Samsung unveils Flip 2 digital interactive display

Samsung Electronics America Inc. has announced its Flip 2 interactive display for collaboration spaces. Available in 55 and 65-inch models, the display offers a pen-to-paper like experience with its Pen and Brush modes, according to a press release.

Customers can use the device to preview content and make changes, as well as writing on a note layer button, which can overlay a note over the original content. The display can also open Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and PDF files. Other features include:

• Brush mode for watercolor and oil painting-like experience.
• Up to four people can write simultaneously and erase drawings with a finger or palm swipe.
• UHD resolution.
• Can work as a calendar, scheduler, note or checklist board.
• Can project content to another display in real-time using a Wi-Fi Direct of HDMI out connection.
