Samsung plans to unveil its CH711 Quantum Dot Curved monitor at CES 2017 from Jan. 5-8 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. The company will also showcase its CFG70 and CF791 Quantum Dot displays, according to a press release.

The CH711, which is designed specifically for gamers, has a curvature of 1,800 R and posseses a 178-degree viewing angle. It also supports 2560 x 1440 resolution and 125 percent sRGB color coverage. The device is designed to store its HDMI and power cables in its neck.

"Today's multimedia consumers have heightened expectations; they demand an immersive experience that makes them feel like they’re part of the games they play and the content they view," Andrew Sivori, vice president, CE-IT product marketing at Samsung Electronics America, said in the release. "Our new Quantum Dot Curved monitors offer brilliant design, richer color, and even deeper contrast than ever before."

CES Attendees will get a chance to try out the CH711 monitor in an interactive gaming zone at Samsung's booth.
