SageNet, a managed services and cybersecurity solutions provider, has made three appointments to its executive leadership team, according to a company press release.

Brad Wise has been promoted to CEO, John Meek will take over as COO, while current CEO Daryl Woodard will serve as chairman. All three have worked for SageNet for several years and have experience in the managed services industry.

For the past eight years, Wise has led SageNet's growth, expanded the company's products and services, retained customers and grown SageNet to more than 450 employees. As CEO, Wise will create and communicate SageNet's vision, define its mission and lead the organization to achieve its objectives, according to the press release.

Meek, who joined SageNet in 2017, currently serves as the company's VP in the Project Management Office. In the newly-created COO position he will handle the company's daily administration and operations.

As chairman, Woodard will continue to be actively involved in SageNet, meeting with customers and providing the leadership team with stewardship, advice and guidance in reaching the organization's long-term goals. He will also lead the company's strategic acquisitions.

"These appointments represent the latest steps in SageNet's steady evolution," Woodard said in the release. "In our 23rd year, we've grown from start-up to one of the industry's leading managed services partners. Brad's move to CEO, and John's appointment to our new COO position reflect our fundamental belief that SageNet must combine the systems, processes, and operational excellence of a major corporation with the innovative thinking and agility of a start-up."

Woodard and Wise believe the appointments are catalysts for change.

"Yet, we will also remain true to the fundamentals that have brought us so much success," Wise said in the release. "We remain steadfastly focused on one goal: to provide our customers the very best solutions and support as we pursue our vision to be the managed services benchmark by which all others are measured."

SageNet, based in Tulsa, Oklahoma, was founded in 1981.
