The Royal Children's Hospital has enlisted the help of Australian media company QMS in the annual Good Friday Appeal charity campaign in Melbourne, which seeks to raise support for the hospital, according to a press release.
Begun in 1931, the annual charity culminates in a telethon on Good Friday, broadcast on Channel 7; the program has raised more than $421 million AUD (approximately $280 million USD) since its inception.
The campaign creative has run across QMS large format digital screens along with screens at 7-Eleven convenience stores in Victoria.
"We are grateful to QMS for the generous donation of out-of-home space to help us spread the word about this year's Good Friday Appeal," Rebecca Cowan, executive director at the Good Friday Appeal, said in the release. "The digital signs you will see across the state will allow Victorians to spot our Faces of the Appeal, Arlo and Aru, and build awareness of the importance of donating to The Royal Children's Hospital."
"We are honored to be involved with this wonderful cause, which highlights the generous spirit of Australians every year," Sara Lappage, COO at QMS, said in the release. "Easter marks a time when all Victorians come together to support our world class Royal Children's Hospital, the sick children and their families that find themselves there, and the incredible medical and support staff who care for them."
