ETOBICOKE, Ontario — Rise Vision Inc., provider of a Web-based content management system for the control of digital signage networks, announced that it has partnered with NEC Display Solutions to create a bundled digital signage solution targeted for IT integrators.
This bundle streamlines sales by including all of the elements needed for a turnkey digital signage installation, including Rise Vision's SaaS content management solution, the Rise Display Network, a media player, cables and NEC mounting hardware. Designed for installations in hospitals, universities, banks and corporate lobbies, the bundled solution is sold via a single SKU from major resellers Ingram Micro, Synnex and Tech Data. The Rise Vision/NEC bundled solution is compatible with NEC LCD displays ranging in size from 32-inches to 57-inches. In addition to providing a turnkey solution, the bundle offers significant discounts on Rise Vision's content management software, including one free year of the Rise Display Network and one free custom presentation design. "IT integrators tell us that their customers in a variety of markets are looking for a quick and easy digital signage installation with no hassles," said Ryan Cahoy, managing director, Rise Vision Inc. "Working with NEC, we developed a bundled, off-the-shelf solution that looks professional, is easy to sell and install, and that doesn't break the bank." "The partnership with Rise Vision makes it possible to provide the channel with a total solution that eliminates the need for additional external equipment," said Mike Zmuda, director of business development at NEC Display Solutions. "This bundle leverages multiple resources to prove that nearly any business environment can easily deploy digital signage with one solution." The Rise Display Network is a Web-based, software-as-a-service content management system operated by Rise Vision. Subscriptions include access to live content such as news headlines, local weather, sports scores, and stock ticker updates. Users incorporate this live content with their own information, including movies, graphics and text, and publish it directly to their network of digital signs.
