Rise Vision announces emergency alerts capability for schools

Rise Vision, a digital signage software provider with a focus on education use cases, has announced an emergency alert feature, according to a press release.

The feature is compatible with a range of display models, including brands like Promethean, SMART Technologies, Clear Touch, Clevertouch, Boxlight, Newline, BenQ, ViewSonic and Avocor.

The software feature allows emergency alerts to be broadcast over other content in case of an emergency or any other content administrators want to override regular content streams, such as announcements.

"We understand that school safety is of the utmost importance," Brian Loosbrock, CEO of Rise Vision, said in the release. "That's why we've developed this feature, which allows schools to quickly and easily disseminate emergency alerts to their students and staff. It's a simple, yet powerful tool that can help keep schools safe."
